| CAPITAL KICKERS, soccer camps directed by Coach Dave Pinkham of Gilford High School, the 2006 National Boys Soccer Coach of the Year, will be returning to Gilmanton to conduct an evening camp at GYO Park from 5:30 to 8:00 June 28-July 1, 2010. CAPITAL KICKERS is for players who are entering kindergarten through 8th grades who have a desire to learn more about the game of soccer. The youngest campers are introduced to the game in a fun, positive atmosphere which teaches individual skills and encourages teamwork and social enrichment. Older, more experienced players will have more emphasis placed on skill development and technique. Capital Kickers' philosophy is that every camper should have fun and will develop a better understanding of the game by participating with experienced coaches who are committed to the game and its development. We work in small groups, based on age and ability, to improve each camper's technique and knowledge of the game, in addition to installing a hard work ethic and the joy of playing. Individual attention is given on a daily basis, together with group concepts and drills, along with a "skill of the day." |
| ALL YOUTH SOCCER COACHES and parents are invited to attend any or all sessions of camp. We are always willing to work with local coaches to expand their knowledge of the game, coaching skills and techniques. |
